Pakistan Army provides the opportunity to female citizens of Pakistan to serve the nation in different ways. According to latest advertisement by Pak Army, nurses are required to serve the nation in different cities. Armed Forces Nursing Services is golden opportunity for females to join Pakistan army.
AFNS is divided into two categories. One for those who want to join Pak army as nurse after FSc pre medical, and one for those who want to enroll in army as trained nurses. Females can join in Pak army as nurses as permanent regular commission or short service regular commission. Only females can apply as AFNS.
Qualification:
AFNS BSC Nursing Female
- Matric with science minimum 60% marks
- FSC pre medical with 50%marks
Trained Nurse as a Lieutenant
- BSC nursing (4 years)
- 3 years nursing diploma and 1 year midwifery
Eligibility Criteria
- 17 to 25 years of age as BSc nursing and 18 to 28 years for trained nurses.
- Candidates waiting for intermediate Part II result can apply via hope certificate signed by the principal of the institute.
- Candidate’s holding Pakistani nationality can apply.
- Seats are reserved for the candidates of Baluchistan, KPK, and interior Sindh.
- Applying candidates must be registered in PNC Pakistan nursing council.
- Females who have done specialized course e.g. ICT, OC, CCU will be given preference.
- Minimum height requirement is 5 feet.
- Both married and unmarried females are eligible to apply.
Ineligibility Criteria:
- Medically unfit by medical board.
- Candidates removed from any government services on the basis of their character.

Registration will start from 2nd July 2024 to 10th August 2024.
