AFNS is an armed force nursing service that is looking to hire trained nurses from pakistan. Every year AFNS publishes its advertisement providing life changing opportunities to female citizens of pakistan. Selected candidates after passing the initial test and interview will get the direct rank of female Lieutenant.
AFNS program is limited to only female candidates unlike other programs where female and male both can apply. Initial test will be multiple choice questions from English, Math’s, Pak studies, Islamiat and general knowledge. Candidates after passing this test will go through initial physical or medical test followed by interview at AS&RC.
Qualification:
- 4 years nursing program i.e. BSc Nursing
- 3 years nursing diploma and 1 year midwifery
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Marital status of married and unmarried both are acceptable.
- Females applying in AFNSmust have a minimum height of 5 feet or 152.4cm.
- Age requirement of applying candidates is between 18 to 28 yerrasca;culated on 1st june 2024.
- Candidates holding domicile of pakistan, gilgit baltistran and azad kashmir are eligible.
- Any candidate holding dual nationality has to give up one nationality after selection.
- Applying candidates must have valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council(PNC).
- Candidates with post basic specialized courses including ICU, OT, CCU will be preferred.
Ineligibility Criteria:
- Any candidate declared unfit by the medical board.
- Candidates removed from any forces on the basis of character, discipline, medical inefficiency or weak profile.
- Any individual removed from any government institute.
How to Apply:
- Registration can be done both online and offline.
- Online registration can be done by visiting joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
- Exact date and time of initial test will be written on roll number slip.
- Candidates can also do registration by visiting nearest army selection and recruitment center(AS&RC)
