Chaklala cantonment board is working under military, ministry of defense and government of Pakistan. Due to massive increase in population, on 2003 Rawalpindi cantonment was divided into two parts. One is same as Rawalpindi cantonment and the other one is Chaklala cantonment. Purpose of these cantonments is to provide better life style and all necessities of life equally to coming generation.

According to CCB recent advertisement, board is offering jobs ass eye specialist, gastroenterologist, staff nurse, and aya. These posts are currently for the duration of one year according to act 9 of PCSR-1954. Candidates holding MBBS, nursing and matric degree with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
