Ministry of planning development and special initiative is a development in state established in 1952 by the government of Pakistan. This commission is controlled by ministry of planning development and reforms. Aim of this institution is to provide government reforms and strategies that plays vital role in the economy of the country.
This institute works with different public and private stakeholders and provide different plans and objectives and also ensure efficacy of work. Planning commission of Pakistan is inviting applicants for the posts of member (science and technology and ICT) member (private sector development and competitiveness) and member (energy planning commission). Both male and female with professional experience are required for all the posts.

Terms and Conditions:
- Maximum age limit applying for all above posts is 62 years.
- Pay package for above announced vacant seats is MP-1 scale.
- Current selection will be done for the period of 3 years. Extension of 2 years will be done on annual basis depending on the satisfactory performance by the employees.
- Candidates who are already serving in any government institute can apply. If they got selected they have to ask for retirement from their department before joining.
